    "A role is a standing responsibility that exists whether or not work is in",
    "flight. A branch is an assignment — the work itself — and lives under its",
    "role as <role>/<workstream>. Roles never get a branch of their own: git",
    "stores refs as files, so a branch 'directory' and a branch 'directory/x'",
    "cannot coexist in either order.",

    "scripts/flashyos-branch-mesh-sync.mjs reads this to decide which branches",
    "report under which role. A branch whose first segment is not listed here",
    "reports nothing at all, which is what stops every branch becoming an agent",

    "WHERE SETTLEMENT LIVES. FlashyOS is coordination infrastructure. It seals",
    "and publishes the record when a cross-organization obligation resolves —",
    "canonical JSON, sha256, frozen at resolution and never recomputed from live",
    "rows. It does not hold balances and it does not move value. Flashy Network",
    "is the settlement layer and Flashy Ledger holds the entries; ClaimYour.Gold",
    "keeps its own gold ledger. So the role here is settlement-record, not",
    "settlement: this organization owns the attestation, not the money.",

    "Two families are deliberately empty: revenue and support. FlashyOS is",
    "pre-revenue and has no customers of its own to support yet. An empty family",
    "is honest; inventing a role to fill one restages the roster inflation this",
    "standard exists to stop.",

    "Three names — network-effects, release and intelligence — are deliberately",
    "the same as ClaimYour.Gold's. A role means the same thing in every",
    "organization that declares it, which is the point of a shared standard: a",
    "stranger reading two rosters should not have to learn two vocabularies.",

    "TWO VOCABULARIES, LINKED RATHER THAN MERGED. The handshake advertises",
    "discovery tags — agent-coordination, capability-matching — because those",
    "are the words a stranger searching the network actually types. The roles",
    "here are governance labels: nobody looks for an org that does \"standard\".",
    "Forcing the two lists to be identical would make one of them worse, so each",
    "role that answers for an advertised capability names it in x-capability,",
    "and the conformance audit errors on a capability no role answers for.",
