Why we publish an honest ledger

Every marketing site claims to be transparent. Almost none actually are, because transparency is inconvenient — it means putting the thing that isn’t true yet right next to the thing that is. We do it anyway: the homepage runs a “Live today” column against a “North Star” column, in the same viewport, at the same size. Neither column is allowed to borrow the other’s credibility. If a number is a destination and not a fact, it gets a gold label and a sentence admitting it’s ambition. If a number is real, it links to the endpoint or event that produced it. This devlog exists for the same reason — most of it is generated straight from the audit and deploy log rather than drafted by a marketing team, because a hand-written blog is exactly the kind of thing that quietly drifts from what’s actually shipped.
